Bernal is a Costa Rican songwriter and producer blending dream-like indie, modern textures, and melodies rooted in Latin American folk. His voice and guitar bring warmth to a sound defined by spontaneity and experimentation, balancing fleeting moments with lasting impressions.

His songs reimagine the idea of home from a cosmopolitan perspective—at once a place of longing and a refuge. Through themes of identity, nostalgia, and resilience, Bernal transforms vulnerability into vivid, intimate stories.

Now based in Hamburg, Germany, Bernal is preparing to bring his debut album to life. Among its songs is Manifiesto, a reflection on the loneliness of arriving as a stranger in a new land, where, in the quiet of a tower, new greenery and new songs offered solace. Hammock in a Cas Tree unfolds as a sonic postcard of his daughter’s childhood—set in a sunlit backyard with a hammock, a tree, and exotic fruit drinks from his native Costa Rica. Refugio is an intimate meditation on a shared space shaped by dreams, memories, and quiet rituals—gradually opening itself to the world.
